Patch 4.0 New area: North Katalam

North Katalam is one of the new areas that we have in 4.0 and is full of new challenges, quests, mobs and intense sieges, so lets take a closer look at some of the details.

How to travel to Katalam.



You can use the teleport in Sanctum/Pandemonium to travel to the new areas of Katalam.
Also from Sarpan you can travel to the new areas.


Traveling Around North Katalam



Asmos and Elyos will have different areas to level up, Elyos will have the right side of the map while Asmodians will have the left side of the map, on the top and bottom of the map will be wind streams to travel faster to both sides of the map. The side areas will be free of pvp so you can quest with out being killed by the enemy faction, other areas will be pvp areas so you will have to check your back for enemies ^_^ Also at the bottom of the map, there are 4 entrances to South Katalam.
Small Bases

This small bases can be captured and NPCs will appear selling special items and abyss items, like accessories and items, at a cheaper price than the normal places. The most important one is the base number 75 that will sell abyss accessories at a lower price, also from the base 76 and 77 you can buy abyss consumables, other bases give materials for crafting.
Teleportation Routes

Elyos

Blue arrows are teleport devices always active, on top and bottom are the wind streams grey arrows are teleportation devices that are always available between the base and the garrison, yellow arrows are teleportation devices that will be available when your faction controls them and orange arrows are when your faction has control over the fort.

Asmodian
